This enhancement, developed in collaboration with Spotify and confirmed by Meta, means followers can enjoy a 15-second audio snippet of a shared song without ever leaving the Instagram app. This not only significantly improves the user experience but also aims to boost engagement around music content, keeping users captivated within the platform. The feature is already live for both iOS and Android users.


Beyond Audio: New Creative Tools and Strategic Growth

Instagram's commitment to enriching content creation extends beyond just audio. The platform has also unveiled new fonts for both Stories and Reels. Kicking off this new era of personalization, Instagram will introduce a limited-time special font inspired by artist Rosalía's handwriting. This unique font includes custom-drawn symbols accessible by typing specific characters like ":-)" and "<3", allowing users to infuse their content with Rosalía's distinctive artistic flair.

This strategic move by Instagram is widely seen as an effort to establish the platform as a more vibrant hub for music discovery.
